Municipality Hoorn: Applying for a market permit

You can apply for a stand if you meet the following conditions:

• You are 18 years or older.
• You are registered as a trader with the Chamber of Commerce.

For markets that are not organized by the municipality, you can ask the organizer for the registration conditions.

Costs per day or for a fixed pitch

For a day pitch you pay per square metre, per day:

• on weekly markets: € 2.70
• at fairs: € 6.10
• at extra held markets: € 2.70

For a permanent place on the weekly market you pay per square meter, per year:

• center of Hoorn: € 98
• other markets in Hoorn: € 79.80

Electricity costs, promotional contribution and other costs

There may be other costs, such as a promotional contribution for the market and electricity costs. When registering, you choose a category when it comes to power consumption.

Category 1: market stalls and sales vehicles (winter lighting only)Category 2: market stalls and sales vehicles with standard lighting.Category 3: market stalls and sales vehicles with other power consumers and/or lighting,Category 4: market stalls and sales vehicles with lighting and/or cooling and/or other power consumersCategory 5: sales vehicles with lighting, cooling and the use of three-phase electricity
