You need a marktvergunning (market permit) to sell products at a market.

Waiting list

You must register if you want a permanent stall, as there is a waiting list. This is not necessary if you want to run a market stall only once. The marktmeester (market manager) will check whether you are eligible for a dagvergunning (day permit). In that case you will not be put on the waiting list.

Day permit

You can report to the market manager on the market day if you want a day permit. Day permits are only available for the weekmarkt (weekly market), not for the dagmarkt (daily market).

Registering for a permanent stall

Do you want a permanent stall? Please register on the applicant list. Download the Inschrijving markten registration form (in Dutch), complete it and send it by email to marktmeesters@maastricht.nl

You pay a fee for registering on the applicant list for the daily and weekly markets.

Market fees

You must pay marktgeld (market fees) if you have a stand at the weekly market at Markt, Mosae Forum, Hoenderstraat or Boschstraat.

Check our webpage Marktstandplaats (in Dutch) for the actual fees,

You will get a response to your application within 8 weeks.
