You need a market permit (marktvergunning) to sell products at a market.

You can apply for a place in the market if you meet the following:

  • You are registered with the Chamber of Commerce
  • You are legally competent
  • A copy of a valid identity document
  • if you are not a Dutch citizen: a valid Dutch residence permit
  • if you live outside the Netherlands: a copy of a document showing that you have a permanent place of residence
  • an extract of your listing in the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce’s business register (KVK Handelsregister) entry from the Chamber of Commerce (no more than 1 month old)

You send your signed application by post to:

Gemeente NunspeetPostbus 79 8070 AB Nunspeet Indicate in your application which market and which spot you want to be on and what you sell. The permit is primarily for you personally. Do you no longer want to be on the market and do you know another market trader who wants to be in your place? Then ask the municipality for permission to transfer your permit to the other market trader; this under the conditions mentioned in the Marktreglement gemeente Nunspeet, article 9

The application for a market permit costs: € 0.
