You need a market permit (marktvergunning) to sell products at a market. You can contact Corné Kriessels (c.kriesels@roosendaal.nl) for more information.

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You must have a permanent place of residence or stay.
  • You are registered at the Chamber of Commerce (KvK). You are the owner of a sole proprietorship or partner in a general partnership. If you have a private limited company (BV), your name must be on the extract from the Chamber of Commerce.
  • valid identity document
  • if you are not a Dutch citizen: a valid Dutch residence permit
  • if you live outside the Netherlands: a copy of a document showing that you have a permanent place of residence

You must pay market tax (marktgeld) for the use of municipal land (precario). For more information, contact the municipality.

You will get a response to your application within 4 weeks.
