Municipality Veendam: Applying for a market permit
Do you want to sell goods or food at the market? You need a permit for a permanent spot on the market. You can apply for this at the municipality.
Do you want a place for 1 day? Arrange this with the market master. This can be done on the day itself. A day place is, for example, a place that is not used because the market vendor is on vacation.
The spots at the market are divided in such a way that there are stalls with different types of products.
If you want to sell something from a stall or cart in another place, you need a stand permit. For example, if you want to stand along the road or on a square.
The weekly market is on the Museumplein in the center of Veendam:
Monday afternoon from 13:00 to 17:00 hoursThursday from 10.00 to 17.00 hours
There are conditions. For example:
- You may not give your spot to someone else.
- You may not transfer the permit to someone else. The permit is personal
For a place for a day, call the market manager at phone number: +31598 652222 or email info@veendam.nl.
- Arrangements will be made as to when the place will be taken at the market.
