Municipality Etten-Leur: Applying for a market trader's licence
Do you want to sell goods or food from a stand or van on a (public) road? Then you must apply for a market trader’s licence (standplaatsvergunning). You can think of, among other things:
- sale of consumer goods
- bus for TV or internet facilities
This does not refer to the locations at the weekly market
To obtain a market trader’s licence, you must meet the following conditions:
- you are registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK)
- you meet your municipality’s general conditions for renting a pitch
- your pitch does not cause public order problems
- you yourself must sell goods at the pitch.

You can choose an available pitch. You can also suggest one to the municipality.Via apv@etten-leur.nl or by phone +31765024000.
Processing an application for a permit costs:
- a market trader’s licence valid for a maximum of 1 week: €95,-
- a market trader’s licence valid for a maximum of 1 1 month: €189,-
- a market trader’s licence valid for a maximum of 1 year: €379,-
- market dues and electra each day
