Municipality Duiven: Applying for an event licence
If you wish to organise an event, you must notify the municipality and, in some cases, apply for a permit.
For many small events, you do not need a permit. In such cases, you can provide notification of the event free of charge.
A notification for a small event is required if:
a. during the event, the expected number of attendees exceeds 100 but does not exceed 250 persons;b. the event takes place between 09:00 and 23:00; andc. no music is played before 09.00 hrs (on Sundays 13.00 hrs) or after 23.00 hrs;d. the event does not obstruct the usability of the road or otherwise interfere with traffic and emergency services;e. only objects with a maximum surface area of 25 m2 per object are placed and no more than four objects are present at the same time;f. there is an organiser;g. no alcoholic beverages, food or other goods will be provided for payment;h. the event does not cover more than one street, on the understanding that it is not a through road or access road, the street will be cordoned off (preferably with crowd barriers bearing a C1 sign), a free passage of 3.5 metres will be guaranteed and fire hydrants will be kept clear.

Do you meet the above conditions, but will there be fewer than 100 people? Then you do not need to report the event.
Do you not meet the above conditions? Then you need an event permit.
Notifying the event or applying for a permit
The website provides the form for making a notification or applying for a permit.
The amount that you have to pay depends on the type of event that you are organising. This varies from free of charge up to €1.034,00.
You will be notified within 8 weeks. The municipality may extend this notice period once.
