If you wish to organise an event, you must notify the municipality and, in some cases, apply for a permit. You can check this online using the permit check .  You can easily submit your event online with a form. By answering a question, it is determined whether you need a permit for your event or whether a notification is sufficient. Please submit the form in time, as failure to submit in advance may affect the occurrence of your event.

Event

Submission of a large-scale or high-risk event must be no later than November 1 prior to the year in which the event takes place. You can make a pre-announcement with an online form.

Permit check

Carry out the permit check (in Dutch).

Making a notification is free. The fee for a permit is € 39.05. You may have to deal with other matters: traffic decree, noise exemption and/or an exemption for temporarily serving low-alcohol drinks (Article 35 of the Alcohol Act). The fees for all three of these exemptions are € 83.95 per exemption.

You will be notified within 8 to 10 weeks. The municipality may extend this notice period once.
