Municipality Hoogeveen: Applying for an event licence
Do you wish to organize an event for more than 250 people? Will the event be outdoors and open to the public? Or are you closing roads? If yes, you need an event permit. You must apply for this permit no later than 12 weeks before the date of the event. You must fill in the application form.
Does the event take place between 07:00 and 00:00 and are less than 250 people welcome at the event? And are you planning on using small objects? Will you play only background music where you can still have a conversation? Is no traffic diversion necessary and is the area accessible for emergency services? This is called a small event. Register your event as soon as possible, but at the latest 10 business days before the date of the event. - Map(s) to scale with all objects and their dimensions and the route for the emergency services
- Safety plan: a plan in which you describe how the tasks and responsibilities are divided by the organization before, during and after an event. Describe the risks for participants, local residents and visitors and how these will be dealt with. You will be notified within 8 weeks. The municipality assesses the permit application on aspects such as safety, accessibility, the presence of toilets, fire safety, the serving of alcohol and possible nuisance caused by music.
