If you wish to organise an event, you must notify the municipality and, in some cases, apply for a permit. For many small events, you do not need a permit. In such cases, you can provide notification of the event free of charge. You can check this online using the event check (evenementenchecker).
Events must be notified 12 weeks in advance.

The amount that you have to pay depends on the size of your event. Most events in our municipality are in category B.
- category A: free
- category B: € 184
- category C: € 1.106
You will be notified within 8 to 10 weeks. The municipality may extend this notice period once.
