Municipality Nunspeet: Applying for an event licence
If you wish to organise an event, you must notify the municipality and, in some cases, apply for a permit. You can check this online using the following permit checks: Evenementencheck wandel-, fiets- of toertocht (met motorvoertuigen) (walking, cycling or touring (with motor vehicles)) en de Evenementencheck overige evenementen (other events).
For many small events, you do not need a permit. In such cases, you can provide notification of the event free of charge.
You need to apply for an event licence 12 weeks in advance.
You do not need a permit in the following situations:
- there are fewer than 250 attendees.
- the event is between 8:00 and 23:00 and will last one day.
- Music will not be played after 23:00.
- The event will not hinder traffic and emergency services.
- you place a maximum of 2 small objects with a surface area of less than 10 m2 per object, such as a bouncy castle or a barbecue.
- An organizer will be present at the event and he/she will inform any local residents about the event at least one week in advance.
When a permit is required:
- the event is a large gathering, such as a festival, celebration, show or jumble sale.
- it may be attended by more than 250 people.
- the event may take place in several places at the same time.
- the event is on or next to a public road.
- the event makes it necessary to close a road.
- the event may disrupt the emergency services, such as the police or ambulances, for example due to a road closure.
- you expect noise nuisance.
- there will be music after 22.00 on a Sunday to Thursday, or after 23.00 on a Friday or Saturday.
- you are installing large objects such as tents, bouncy castles, bars or toilets.
- Emergency plan.
- Situation drawing.
- After assessing the application the municipality can oblige you to submit a scenario, traffic plan, construction drawing, safety plan and/or evacuation plan.
- Situation drawing (preferably in 1:100 scale). This drawing must clearly indicate the: objects, location of the establishment in relation to the surrounding buildings, access to the establishment, connection to other establishments, yards and public areas.
Complete the form and send it to the municipality.
