Would you like to organize an event in the municipality of Oldebroek, such as a parade, fair, Easter bonfire or sports tournament? Then you need a permit or you must submit a notification. You must apply for an event permit at least 8 or 14 weeks before the event. You must report this at least 3 weeks in advance. In some cases, an event is both permit- and notification-free.

Large events with more than 2 500 visitors must be notified 14 weeks in advance. Smaller events must be notified 8 weeks in advance.

Need a notification, permit or nothing?

Nothing necessary

If your event meets the conditions below, no notification or permit is required. Does your event not meet all the conditions? Then check whether your event meets the conditions for a notification.

  • The event is only for (a limited group of) invited guests.
  • No sound amplification or loudspeaker system is used for speaking or music.
  • There is no obstruction to the passage for traffic and/or emergency services.
  • No (weakly) alcoholic beverages are sold.
  • No large fire is lit (fire pit no larger than a 200 liter barrel).

Event notification conditions

If your event meets the conditions below, a notification will suffice.

  • There are fewer than 500 people present at the same time.
  • The event takes place between 7 a.m. and midnight.
  • There is no amplified speech and/or music before 7:00 AM or after 11:00 PM.
  • The event does not hinder the passage of traffic and emergency services.

Permit required

Does your event not meet the conditions for a notification? Then you need a permit. Before completing the application form, read the explanation for events requiring a permit. For events up to 2,500 visitors, you must apply for a permit 8 weeks in advance. For large (high-risk) events with more than 2,500 visitors, you should preferably apply for a permit 14 weeks in advance.

You can report an event or request a permit online.

The amount that you have to pay depends on the type of event that you are organising. The costs are stated in the fee regulations.

You will be notified within 8 to 10 weeks. The municipality may extend this notice period once.
