Municipality Oude IJsselstreek: Applying for an event licence
If you wish to organise an event, you must notify the municipality and, in some cases, apply for a permit. You can check this online using the permit check (in Dutch).
For many small events, you do not need a permit. In such cases, you can provide notification of the event free of charge.
Large events (type B- and C-events) must be notified 14 weeks in advance. Smaller events (type A-events) must be notified 3 to 8 weeks in advance.
You do not need a permit in the following situations:
- There are fewer than 200 attendees at the busiest time.- The event takes place between 08.00 and 24.00.- No (amplified) music will be played befóre 08.00 (on Sundays before 13.00) or after 24.00. - You do not sell food or alcohol. - There will be no party tent or a party tent accessible for less than 100 people at the same time. - Traffic measures (closing roads, for example) are not necessary. Or traffic measures are needed, but the host of the event will inform the mayor by letter at least 3 weeks before the event.

You will be notified within 8 to 14 weeks, depending on the type of event that you are organising. The municipality may extend this notice period with a maximum of 8 weeks.
