Purchase subsidy zero emission trucks AanZET
Do you want to buy or (financial) lease a new, zero emission truck for your business? Or do you have an operational lease company that rents out trucks? You can apply for the Purchase subsidy zero emission trucks AanZET (Aanschafsubsidieregeling zero-emissie trucks AanZET, in Dutch).
You can get a percentage of the purchase price as subsidy, depending on the type of truck and the size of your company. If its concerns an operational lease, your leasing company applies for this subsidy.
Who can apply?
You can apply for the AanZET subsidy if:
- you are an entrepreneur or run a non-profit organisation
- you are an operational lease company for trucks
To make use of this subsidy, you must meet the conditions (in Dutch), among others:
- The truck is new.
- The truck is vehicle class N2 and weighs at least 10,000 kilograms, or is vehicle class N3.
- The truck is fully electric or hydrogen-powered. Fuel codes E and W are eligible.
- The battery cannot contain lead.
- You have not yet purchased the truck.
- You apply for a subsidy for a maximum of 10 trucks per day.
- You have not applied for (and received) Subsidy for Clean and Zero Emission Construction Equipment (SSEB) for the truck, or Subsidy for hydrogen in mobility (SWIM).
How to apply?
The application period for the AanZET subsidy is from 27 January 2026, 9:00 hours until 13 February 2026, 12:00 hours to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO, in Dutch). At this moment, you can no longer apply for the subsidy because the budget has been exhausted.
