Subsidy ITEA4 research programme

ITEA (Information Technology for European Advancement) is a European strategic research programme for the development of software-intensive systems and services. ITEA is focused on market/applied research.

When do you qualify?

ITEA is open to large companies, SMEs, start-ups, research institutes and universities from Europe or other Eureka associated countries looking to collaborate. Your project outlines and full project proposals must meet the selection criteria.

How to apply?

You can submit your Project Outline with Eureka from 15 September until 2 November 2026, 17:00 hour. If your Project Outline is approved, you must submit a Full Project Proposal (FPP) before 11 February 2026, 17:00 hours. 

You can use your FPP to apply for a national subsidy (in Dutch) with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). Applications may be submitted in English.
