Subsidy for private charging stations (SPRILA)
Do you want to invest in electric vehicle charging stations for your company? You can apply for the Private Charging Infrastructure at Businesses Subsidy Scheme (SPRILA). This is a subsidy scheme for the construction of charging infrastructure on your premises.
If you want to build charging infrastructure for heavy vehicles in a publicly accessible location, you can apply for SPULA subsidy.
When are you eligible for SPRILA Purchase?
To apply for the SPRILA subsidy you must meet the following conditions, among others:
- You are registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce KVK. Your company is established in the Netherlands.
- You build the charging infrastructure on your own premises or on premises you rent, such as your car park or parking lot.
- Your charging infrastructure must have at least 1 charging station. This can either be a direct current (DC) charging station with a capacity of at least 20 kW, or an alternating current (AC) charging station with a capacity of at least 11 kW.
- Your charging location must be privately accessible. Privately accessible means that the site is only available to you, your employees, or your visitors. Or that it is only accessible to third parties at certain times.
- You must apply for at least €2,500 for each location.

Note that if you apply for an amount lower than €25,000, you must apply no later than 13 weeks after the charging infrastructure has been built. If you apply for more than € 25,000, you must apply before you commission the charging infrastructure. Use RVO's calculation tool to determine whether you are eligible for more or less than €25,000 in subsidies (in Dutch).
