Subsidy scheme for practice-based learning third learning pathway
Do you want to offer work-based learning or practical learning opportunities to intermediate vocational education (mbo) students in the third learning pathway (derde leerweg)? You can apply for a subsidy for your supervision.
What is the third learning pathway?
An intermediate vocational education (mbo-opleiding) in the third pathway often is shorter and more flexible than a regular education pathway. This is one of the reasons adults often choose this type of education, if they want to pursue an (intermediate vocational) education next to their work or other activities. During such studies, they need to complete practical training (work-based learning). If your company is an accredited work placement company, you can offer such as an internship or work placement.
Other types of education
If you offer an internship or work placement for students of different types of education, you can apply for the Subsidy scheme for practice-based learning.
Who can apply?
You can apply for the first 40 weeks (or less) of the work-based learning. There are several conditions you must meet, among others:
- The educational pathway was started on or after 24 February 2022.
- The student is a job seeker or an employee who is at risk of becoming unemployed.
- You are an accredited work placement company at the time you offer the work placement or internship.
- You supervised the student during all the weeks you apply for. You can demonstrate this with your administration (in Dutch).
