Do you have an industrial company that emits ammonia near a Natura 2000 area? Then you can apply for a subsidy to reduce ammonia emissions. With the subsidy scheme Reducing ammonia emissions industrial top emitters (Beperking ammoniakuitstoot bij industriële piekbelasters, BAIP) you can invest in an installation that reduces your ammonia emissions.

When do you qualify?

You can apply for the BAIP subsidy if you meet the conditions, among others:

  • Your company has SBI code C (industry) and is located within 25 km of a Natura 2000 area.
  • Your company annually emits more than 2,500 moles of ammonia (NH3).
  • Your company already must submit an annual environmental report (PRTR report).
  • Your company voluntarily invests in 1 or more downstream installations to capture ammonia emmissions.

How can you apply?

You can apply for the subsidy scheme Reducing ammonia emissions industrial top emitters (BAIP) (in Dutch) with RVO from 2 December 2024 12:00 until Wednesday 15 January 2025 12:00.
