Fuel surcharge for cars on specific types of natural gas to go up

Please note: this change will not be implemented. The proposed amendment has been withdrawn on 14 November 2024 (in Dutch).

What was supposed to change?

Do you have a company car or van that runs on natural gas CNG, LNG, or LPG with the type designation ex-factory, G3 installation, or R115 installation? If so, you would have to pay the full fuel surcharge from 1 January 2026. Currently, owners of cars and vans running on these fuels have to pay less surcharge.

For whom?

Entrepreneurs driving vehicles that run on:

  • CNG
  • LNG
  • LPG with the type designation ex-factory, G3 installation or R115 installation

When?

The bill has been withdrawn.
