The Single Market Programme is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). One of the goals of the programme is to stimulate SMEs’ competitiveness.

The Single Market Programme (SMP) is an EU programme that runs from 2021 to 2027. SMP succeeds the SME programmes of 2014-2020, among others the COSME subsidy programme. The SMP supports SMEs with improving:

  • access to international markets
  • conditions for the start and growth of companies
  • access to loans and investments
  • digitalisation and sustainability

Who can apply?

Subsidies are available to small or medium-sized enterprises based in the EU.

How to apply?

The Single Market Programme offers different projects at different times you can apply for. You can find SMP projects in the European Commission’s Funding & Tenders Portal. Conditions vary for the different projects. You can also find the deadlines for each project and how to apply for a subsidy through the portal.
