Do you collaborate with other organisations on an innovative project to increase the sales of organic agricultural products? You may be eligible for the Increasing sales of organic agricultural products subsidy (Vabiola). This will support your project in, for instance, setting up pilot projects, developing new products or work processes, or training your staff. 

Conditions for Vabiola subsidy 

To receive a subsidy from the Vabiola scheme, you must meet the conditions (in Dutch), such as: 

  • You work in a partnership consisting of at least 2 SMEs, foundations, or associations. Participating agricultural businesses must have Skal-certification (in Dutch). Check all conditions for the partnership with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO, in Dutch).
  • You will start your project within 3 months of receiving the subsidy, and complete it within 3 years.
  • You have a project plan that clearly fits within the objective of the subsidy scheme to increase sales of organic agricultural products, and you must include a budget. 

How do you apply for the Vabiola grant? 

The coordinator of the partnership (penvoerder) can apply for the subsidy for increasing sales of organic agricultural products (Vabiola) (in Dutch) on behalf of the partnership to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). They can apply from 2 February 2026, 9:00 hours until 1 May 2026, 17:00 hours.
