What kinds of projects can apply?
The subsidy programmes support projects and innovation in the fields of:
- Circular economy;
- CO2 reduction within industry;
- Energy saving;
- Flexibilisation of the energy system;
- Natural gas-free homes, neighbourhoods, and buildings;
- Sustainable energy production;
What subsidies are available?
The DEI+ subsidy supports projects in a range of categories, from a circular economy, energy systems and energy efficiency to carbon capture and storage. Please see the specific subsidy page to learn more.
This theme (in Dutch) of the DEI+ subsidy scheme supports projects that focus on making homes, buildings, and/or neighbourhoods natural gas-free or natural gas-ready.
The HER+ subsidy supports projects that fit within the programme’s goal to reduce CO2 emissions by 2030.
The MOOI subsidy focuses on projects that help to realise the National Climate Agreement goals.
The SMCES subsidy supports projects that focus on the design and development of SMCES and the effects of SMCES.
The VEKI (in Dutch) subsidy scheme supports entrepreneurs that want to implement proven CO2 saving measures within their company but are unable to, due to costs.
The TSE Industry subsidy schemes are for projects that focus on climate-neutral or circular products and carbon emission reduction. There are 2 schemes to which you can apply:
- The TSE Industry Research & Development(R&D) Tender (in Dutch)
- The TSE Industry Studies subsidy (in Dutch)
The ERA-NET PEDs subsidy scheme is for projects that help municipalities make urban areas climate neutral.
When do you qualify?
The conditions for approval differ depending on which themes fit your project. Please see the specific subsidy page to learn more about the requirements for applying.
How to apply?
The opening and closing dates for each of the subsidy schemes vary. Please see the specific subsidy page to learn more about how and when you can apply. You can apply to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO, in Dutch). It is advisable to have your project idea assessed by RVO (in Dutch). You need eHerkenning to apply.
