If you rent out more than 10 homes with a rent price below the social housing rent limit and you are investing in these homes with construction, renovation, demolition or conversion, you may be eligible for reduction of the landlord levy under the Landlord Levy Reduction Scheme 2014 (Regeling Vermindering Verhuurderheffing).
When do you qualify?
Your investmentsare aimed at:
- transforming real estate from non-residential to residential (national);
- demolishing homes in shrinkage regions (certain districts);
- dealing with the housing stock problem in Rotterdam South (several districts).
How to apply?
You can apply digitally (in Dutch) to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) up to and including 31 December 2021. This scheme enables landlords to deduct a set reduction amount over a period of four years.
