Subsidy for prevention of violent crime against businesses

If you own a business in the Netherlands that has been targeted by a robbery, break-in or raid in which violence or the threat of violence was used, you can apply for a subsidy to take measures to prevent a similar crime taking place in the future. These measures include the installation of CCTV, safes, alarm buttons and staff training.
When do you qualify?
- You have been the victim of a break-in or robbery that involved violence or the threat of violence between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2018.
- You are the owner of the company or branch manager.
- You have implemented the security measures in the meantime and the receipts to prove that you have done so.
How to apply
You can apply for this subsidy to the Dutch Violent Offences Compensation Fund until 1 July 2019.
