Subsidy for prevention of violent crime against businesses

If you own a business in the Netherlands that has been targeted by a robbery, break-in or raid you can apply for a subsidy to prevent a similar crime taking place in the future. Read more.

If you own a business in the Netherlands that has been targeted by a robbery, break-in or raid in which violence or the threat of violence was used, you can apply for a subsidy to take measures to prevent a similar crime taking place in the future. These measures include the installation of CCTV, safes, alarm buttons and staff training.

When do you qualify?

  • You have been the victim of a break-in or robbery that involved violence or the threat of violence between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2021.
  • You are the owner of the company or branch manager.
  • You have reported the robbery with the police and can prove this.
  • You have implemented the security measures in the meantime and the receipts to prove that you have done so.

You can no longer apply for this subsidy.
